Tracy GarleyA Liberian native, I have always been a city girl with big dreams. Even at a young age, I used job shadowing as a way to learn the ins and outs of the business world from my family. But it was my ambition, self-motivation and affectious personality that prepared me for entrepreneurship. By the time I entered college at Michigan State University, I began making a name for myself on campus and eventually opened my first store in Inkster with my mother.
"My goal is to encourage young girls to follow their dreams", says the business woman. " No dream is too big if you work hard and stay focused" For me, my hard work and dedication finally paid off when I re-opened my store in the heart of downtown Detroit on my 25th birthday. With my continued dedication and persistence, Zarkpas quickly became one of Downtown Detroit's popular upscale boutiques. Not bad for a city girl with Big dreams!
