Cameo King 

I Within every living creature therein lies a purpose. As leader and a native Detroiter, I stand on that mantra. My life’s goal is to help cultivate the seed of purpose that is planted in every individual.
My passion began in one of the nation’s most diverse places at Howard University in Washington D.C. I am rooted in my inseparable commitment to grow local communities. I began my career in media as a reporter and anchor for Power 96.5 and 1320 WILS, and as a producer and assignment editor for the CBS affiliate, WLNS 6 News in Lansing, MI. I continued following my passion to help cultivate the hearts and minds of the people in education.  I am continuing my collegiate career at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary where I am pursuing a Masters of Arts in Urban Ministry Leadership.  But one of my most significant accomplishments is combining my commitment to the community and media. The combination birthed Good Girl Radio. I know none of this would be possible without my faith. I firmly believe that there are no limits in life.  I know that through hard work, strong ethics, and faith in God, the possibilities for my life are endless.
